After more than a decade since the launch of StarCraft, Blizzard Entertainment has released the highly-anticipated sequel StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty. Today is an important day for StarCraft fans that have been following the original game. StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty is a real-time strategy game for PC and Mac platforms and can be termed as the biggest PC and Mac game release for 2010.
The new StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty is a direct sequel to 1998 hit RTS game StarCraft. The clash between protos, terrans and zergs takes place once again. This time, every class deploys their own legion of veteran, upgraded and new unit types. Solo campaign starts just where StarCraft: Blood War ended. Jim Raynor, a rebel leader, is one of the lead heroes along with other familiar as well as new faces. Players can get to choose their own mission path. Ultimate technology and research upgrades need to be selected to suit individual playing style to pave through 29-mission campaign.
